A sturdy stool of acacia wood that is a knock off of an Ikea stool made of birch. The Ikea stool is no longer available or I would have chosen it. Back to this stool: The hole in the top has no purpose--it is much easier to pick up the stool by the seat. Unfortunately the stool arrived with cosmetic damage due to it being shipped in a box repaired extensively with tape. My husband had it mostly assembled before it was noticed. I will sand and stain the damaged area and try not to see the repair. Edit 2-17-24: True to the Beefurni guarantee, the damaged stool was replaced with a new one.

This stool was relatively easy to assemble with only a screwdriver required. It feels very sturdy and is much more attractive than I expected. It is a little taller than other stools I considered but that works well for me.
The stool is well made, sturdy and very stable. I use it for my plant.
It looks good and a grown adult can sit on it. Building it was easy enough although it needed a screwdriver and (my bad) I hadn't planned for it. But it delayed the process as there wasn't one available the first try. I removed a star due to having to find another screw as one of them was unusable.
It's not that hard to put together but the screws are cheaply made. I contacted the seller as a single screw was missing from the kit and there wasn't anything at Home Depot or Lowes that matched. They sent an entire stool at no cost as they did not have extra screws. I decided I'd get 8 brass screws for the second stool and not only did they look better but they were much, much easier to screw in. I'd recommend the stool but I'd purchase quality screws at a hardware store and they those instead of the cheap hardware provided.
This stool more than met my expectations. The wood was beautiful and the stool very sturdy. Putting it together was very easy.
I did encounter a problem while assembling the bench. I was worried that the pre drilled pilot holes were too small for the supplied screws, and sure enough, despite being careful, the support wood part split. I contacted the manufacturer looking for a replacement part and received a reply within 24 hours that while the single part couldn’t be sent, they would replace the entire unit. A tracking number was supplied and a new unit was sent out via express delivery. I understand that things happen, but I give the company a lot of credit for their responsiveness. The bench itself is very nice, and the finish is beautiful. My only critique is that wooden caps, or plugs, for the recessed screws were not supplied. The caps would have really enhanced the appearance of the bench.

Soild wood - all of it. Easy to put together - very good instructions. Just screw it together. All provided. Very simple. I love it and use it as a side stand beside my couch for my remotes and drinks & notes. Not regrets - NONE! Perfect size and hieght.
Great little stool. We bought 4 and while we don't use them at the table like we thought we would, they have found a use in other ways. On our sets, we did have trouble with the screws begin too short. Bought the next size up in screws and they were a bit too long, had to be careful not to poke through the seat top. On one of the benches the holes didn't match and it ended up cracking the leg, rendering the stool questionable for heavy use.

Good strong stool. Went together nicely with pre drilled holes. My only issue was the last step to attach the seat. It lined up on the dowels but the were no pre drilled for the screws. I marked them and drilled small holes. Didn't want to split the wood.
This stool is tall enough for me to reach the cupboards above my washer & dryer. Great quality for the price. The wood color was exactly what I was looking for.

Very solid stool. Holes in the bottom brace did not line up correctly though and I had to drill new ones. The brass colored bolts look cheap - black ones would have been much better.

This is a nice stool. We are using it as a small end table. It is not too big and is perfect for holding a glass and a book. Very happy with it.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I had a picture in my mind of what table I wanted, and this came pretty darn close. When it was delivered and put together, which was very straightforward, it was perfect for my needs. It is a very attractive table, with real wood. Very sturdy, smoothly cut, nice grain.....just very nice. I am so pleased with my choice.

I rarely give a 5 star review, reserving it for exceptionally well done products. This earns one for design, materials, and ease of assembly. Every joint, with the exception of the crossbar, has pegs and holes that serve to line things up while screwing it together. Simple, but elegant, way to help one person assemble it with no problem.
I like this stool a lot. It looks good and seems sturdy, time will tell if remains so, but I have high hopes it will.

I like the color of this stool. The stool is well made and the hardware is good quality. The instructions are easy to understand. I liked that some of the parts have embedded dowels but regret that these dowels are used only to help guide and keep the parts in place during assembly. It is too bad that the holes are too loose to use wood blue to fasten the guide dowel end to the other parts. So, everything is held together with screws. I will buy another of these but would have loved to see the entire assembly designed using dowels and wood glue. I intend to also buy this company's shoe rack because of the good quality of this product.
Ordered this little stool to put in my garden. However I've decided to use it in my house. The wood is beautiful. It's sturdy and very east to assemble. Love it and highly recommend it.

Heavy duty and well made. Slides easily and the opening in the top makes it easy to pick up.
When assembling this stool, I was much impressed by the thought and precision that had gone into designing and preparing the individual parts. Everything aligned perfectly and fit snugly. My wife was impressed with the color, pattern, and finish of the wood surface, and very much likes the overall appearance. The only change I would recommend is counter sunk holes in the underside of the seat, they make it far easier to get the fastening screws started.
It fit well in the bathroom. I would recommend not tightening the bolts until everything is together. I had to loosen them and wiggle it all to fit together, then retightened them.
I have 2 now .... one in the kitchen and one in the livingroom. Kitchen is a step up stool to access higher cabinet areas. Livingroom is more of a handy sitting stool to do handy work, repair things, and such.
Stool was easy to put together but not so easy to fasten with screws. Ended up using power screw driver.
I love the look and sturdiness of the acacia wood. My only complaint is that at least two of the screws that hold the top on were very easily stripped when I assembled the unit. I did NOT overtighten them. They just would not tighten and can easily fall out. The piece holds together all right with the remaining screws. I may have to redrill them for longer screws.

I almost didn’t buy this and I am so glad I went through with the purchase. This stool is sturdy, beautiful, and useful for just about anything. It gets so much use at our house because it is so easy to transport, and easy to use, but still so sturdy! We have used it as a step stool for hard to reach items, for extra seating in the kitchen, and I frequently use it as an easy to transport bedside table. It is versatile and attractive almost anywhere in the house. The only downside is that it isn’t the most comfortable seat for long-term, but that is to be expected for what it is. The stool is also durable! After months of heavy use, there are no dents, scratches, or anything (and we have even forgotten it outside overnight a couple times) and the legs have held strong, the whole piece is stable with no wiggles. This is a great value, I highly recommend it.

The M4x35 brass cross head screws were too short. I went to the local hardware store and bought some #8 - 2inch to use instead which seemed to work better although it was a little tiring to screw them in.
This is very pretty and strong. I'm using it to hold something heavy and it has held up well for several months. The only caution I have is that there is a hole in the center of the stool. It's small (~1 inch) but noticeable if using for a display of some sort. The height is perfect for my uses.

Very nice stool and easy to assemble. We use it as an extra seat at our small dining room table when my grandson comes. It looks cute to in a corner in my kitchen with a vase of flowers on it.

Relatively easy to assemble solid wood stool. The round slot in the middle of the plate is not ideal, it would be better to have a longer rectangular slot to fit 4 fingers instead of one only to carry it. But lifting the stool up by holding the plate on both ends works too.
I was looking for a stool and this one was a great find. It is very sturdy and well made. i highly recommend this if you are looking for a stool.
I like it but the screws to attach the top are too short or the drill holes not deep enough. It won’t hold the top on. Otherwise it’s nice and the finish is good.
This little stool is the very coolest. It’s a nice size. It’s beautiful to look at and it’s easy to assemble. OK my husband assembled them. I have two of them, but he said it was easy to assemble. Great value for the money, good quality sturdy stool. Easy to move around, nice & light. Now we have 3 of them! An excellent addition to our wood furniture collection.

The stool is sturdy and good looking. It is exactly what I needed in my closet for a place to put on socks and shoes. The problem is that only about half of the pre-drilled holes were there. We had to drill about six holes to screw in the provided screws and finish the assembly. The wood is very hard so you need those pre-drilled holes. If you don't own an electric drill, don't buy this stool.

I couldn’t find a chair for an antique child’s desk. The measurements of this was the perfect height and width. I wasn’t expecting much but was VERY happy when it arrived. It’s extremely sturdy and easy to assemble and the wood/finish is really nice. I would buy this product again.

Needed a small stool for a bunkhouse at our ranch. I didn't want anything expensive because I expect it to get damaged. It looks great, very sturdy and seems very well thought out. I think this piece will actually last with harsh treatment from workers, cowboys, etc. I actually ordered (4) more for other spots around the place!
I was worried about the quality of this stool, after reading many of the reviews. However, I found it easy to assemble. Caveat: the reviews are accurate about there being no pilot holes for the smaller screws that attach the seat, and that's clearly noted in broken English in the instructions. It requires a little extra elbow grease to seat those screws, but ultimately, holes are not needed. There were holes in the appropriate places for the larger screws. I've had the stool about a month, and I'm a large person. So far it's proven to be sturdy and solidly built.

Not much to dislike here. Easy to assemble and lightweight. Very sturdy and durable. I weigh 280 and they don’t budge. Have been using the a couple weeks and holding just like the day we assembled.
This is for the little acacia wood stool. I got it because I can’t stand for long and thought I could sit while I brushed, flossed and water-picked. The stool was too short for that, but that’s on me for not measuring. The stool itself is really beautiful. Very easy assembly, good packaging. Perfect for tall people to sit in front of the sink.
The size was perfect for the bedroom. I could use it in any room, but for my purposes, I placed it in the bedroom. It would easily transition into the bathroom. It is very sturdy, and the wood is beautiful. It was not difficult to assemble, and all the parts were there. Love it!

The color is gorgeous and the stool is super sturdy. It is a modern styled piece that we are using for decoration as opposed to function. But it will certainly serve as a durable seat when needed. Easy to assemble. Arrived well packaged.
Overall, it’s a decent little table. You get about what you pay for. It’s pretty much IKEA quality. Good or bad? Assembly is very easy. 10 minutes should do it. My only knock is that the color of the wood pieces could match a bit better. Most have a nice brown tone while a couple have an off color pinkish tone. My only other comment is that it would have been better if they had used self sinking Allen screws throughout the process as opposed to mixing in Phillips wood screws for a couple parts. Self sinking allen screws are much more secure. I recommend putting a couple drops of wood glue into the Phillips screw holes before tightening to keep things secure.
