Make sure you measure out how big the board will be! Got this as a gift and it was almost too big! Works great as a serving tray for charcuterie as well!

I wanted the large, thick size. Wood is great and construction great. Amazon, created an inner tight box and should have shipped as-is. But then they made a larger, loose flat box and during shipping UPS beat the crap out of it allowing the inner and bang up and down, left and right. The outer box was bent, retaped, and beat up. The "handle" on the edge of the board was broken, and there were some other gouges in thw wood, showing how much abuse it took. Returned damaged and hope the next one I ordered makes it here safe!?!?!?

Very nicely gift package. Product appears to be high quality. Made in Viet Nam. Definitely must be oiled (supplied) prior to use. Board is flat. Not warped like other manufacturers products.
It is well made, all pieces look appear to be joined properly, I expect with proper care and home use it should last a lifetime +.

What an absolutely gorgeous board! I heard that what makes a durable cutting board, according to Cook’s Illustrated and America’s Test Kitchen, is the kind of wood that is made out of, and teak is where it’s at! This large board measures 18”x14”x1”, has built-in handles, which makes it easy to move from kitchen to table, is reversible, so you can use both sides, has a juice groove to catch juices, crumbs, and spills, and is made from 100% natural, sustainable teak. I was able to use the board right out of the box after giving it a quick wash, and really like the pattern of the wood. Teak boards are easy to take care of and can be hand washed with soapy water after each use and dried with a soft cloth or paper towel. Beefurni also recommends to always wash both sides of the board to prevent swelling and warping. If you have a rocking cutting board, that usually means that only one side was washed. They also recommend oiling your board every month to maintain it. My wife had purchased another wood cutting board, so she already had some coconut oil to keep it maintained and conditioned, as an alternative to using mineral oil, which is a by-product of petroleum. Coconut oil is non-toxic, food safe, and antimicrobial, but you have to make sure that it’s fractionated because using regular coconut oil can go rancid over time. Fractionated coconut oil, also known as “MCT oil,” has had all of its fatty acids removed and is basically odorless. It’ll moisturize and prevent fluid, water, and bacteria from soaking into the wood fibers. Teak is also mildew and mold resistant. This board’s average lifespan is 20 years, and is also knife-friendly, as teak wood is medium hard, so it won’t dull your blades as fast as using it on glass or bamboo boards. I enjoy cutting a variety of things on it from fruits and vegetables and breads but will probably use a separate board for raw meats, seafood, and poultry to avoid any cross-contamination. Looking forward to using and enjoying this board for a long time.
I like this cutting board - it is beautiful and so far seems durable - but I have had it only a week. I oiled it.
The grain on this looked so nice with multiple shades of wood going parallel with one another. As for the board itself, it was a good thickness for regular cutting, with one side of the cutting board being smooth and the other having grooves for run off liquids. Its got good decent weight and isn't going to go anywhere, especially with those bubble grip things underneath.
Split occurred after one day of use! Teak wood suppose to last. In addition, the board was dirty. It took me numerous times to wipe it down, but not completely clean. The paper towel still shows brown! I am very disappointed with this product. The seller was kind enough to issue a refund and a free replacement. I was very excited. However, the free replacement board is warped! I attached the short video clip :-( Update 11.03.23: the customer service is excellent! After the free replacement board was not steady and developed a small crack, I was offered still another replacement board, which was finally of a good quality. I was not expecting such level of service, but I received a free cutting board twice!

This is a gorgeous cutting board. Heavy duty. I leave it out on the counter top all of the time for ease of use. Cleans up easily with warm water with a dash of soap. I do recommend that one oils this board often.. it is too beautiful not to take good care of.

Bought this for my daughter who likes to entertain. Made really well and high quality teak or hardwood. I gave it a coat of butcher block oil and it looks even better. The price is a bargain compare to other quality carving boards. The size is really big, but not too big. It's really heavy and it is reversible. Like the side pocket handles for lifting and moving.
